I'm Mathias Bachmann, software developer and experience designer. I conceive, design and build digital products – from mobile apps for iOS and Android to single page applications and complex web platforms.

My strength lies in developing creative ideas that don't just look good, but are technically sound and hold up from a UI/UX perspective.

Today I'm Principal Product Engineer at AIRTIME. There I work at the intersection of product and engineering on the AI-driven platform that rethinks investor relations. More than 300 listed companies use it to find the right investors and build lasting relationships.

Before that I was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at fabel.care. I built and owned the entire technology there from the ground up: infrastructure, platform and the AI-supported apps for iOS and Android – from the first line of code to running operations. The result is one of the best apps in the German care market.

Before that, as Mobile Lead at Facelift BBT, I spent six years advancing Facelift Cloud and Social Share together with my team – next to the technical leadership, the UX of the mobile apps was my responsibility as well. Prior to Facelift I worked as a software architect at For Sale Digital in e-commerce and, as Innovation Director at PiXELHEIMAT (now part of upljft), delivered a good number of exciting projects and products.

Over the years I've had the privilege of working with many different clients and agencies – among them SCOUPY, Media Markt, Reeperbahn Festival, Plan.Net, KMP, Rochus Mummert, Karsten Jahnke, TANZRAUM, touché! and the DFB.
